I recently had the privilege of capturing my Nephew’s wedding day in Norther Delaware at the Thousand Acre Farm. It was a beautiful day even with temperatures soaring ABOVE 100 degrees. Family and friends had a fantastic time celebrating Matt and Sydney’s big day. Enjoy the sneak peeks and congratulations to Matt and Sydney on the start of their lives together.
The first day of winter was extremely cold, but we still had fun heading out to Tyaskin to squeeze in some engagement portraits just before the holidays. Spending time with a fantastic couple like Jake and Megan is our favorite way to close out 2014! Enjoy this peek into the fun we had, and we look forward to capturing their big day in June of this year!
Years ago I had photographed the wedding of Zach and Melinda, who’s family owns the property where the lovely, rustic, country wedding of Kenny and Lauren took place. They had another venue booked, but the original place fell through so they ended up getting to have their wedding at Chickberry Farms in DE.
It was a great combination of amazing people, relaxed atmosphere, and some wonderful surprises that lead to a beautiful and fun wedding day. Tiffany and I were excited to share in the day with them and to capture many special moments for these wonderful clients.
Lauren and Kenny – thank you for your trust in us and for allowing us the opportunity to be with you on this most important day of your lives. It was a wonderful day and we loved every minute of it. We enjoyed meeting your friends and family and the flash mob dance at your reception. We are so happy for your new lives together and your new family. Congrats and we hope that your marriage will be a wonderful journey. Enjoy the sneak peeks! We hope that they remind you of your amazing day.
Sincerely-James and Tiffany
Sunday was a perfect fall day, and we couldn’t think of a better way to spend it than with Logan and Jess for their engagement session. These two are dreamy cuteness all over! And such naturals in front of the camera, we hardly had to tell them what to do! Absolutely so looking forward to their 2015 wedding!
Take a look at these lovely sneak peeks; we hope you enjoy them as much as we do. -Amanda + James
I am particularly close to this wedding, having known Emily since we were both young. I was more than thrilled when she and Garrett came to us to do their wedding! It’s been wonderful seeing their love grow and working with them leading up to this day. It was like springtime in the middle of October. As Emily walked the aisle on her father’s arm, she kept the happiest grin. Garret whispered to her “you’re gorgeous” and my heart nearly melted. The ceremony was held at Asbury United Methodist church in Salisbury, and the reception at The Fountains.
Emily and Garrett, we want to thank you! Thank you for putting your trust in James and me to document this amazing time in your lives. What an honor it was to be a part of the celebration! Love you both and wish you many many of the happiest times!
-Amanda & James
The October weddings continue to roll on for us, but this one was our first October wedding of this year. Let me just say it’s not a real wedding till the police show up. Well, they were already there actually. Logan being an officer, along with several of the guests and groomsmen. The Laurel police did, however, show up and kindly let us use a cruiser for a quick photo with the girls before the ceremony. Logan and Erin were married in the Methodist church in downtown Laurel and then partied with friends and family at the Laurel Fire Hall.
It was a beautiful October day and such a wonderful gathering of friends and family. The Karaoke machine was running hot all night at the reception, which is fitting, since they met at a Karaoke night. Logan took the mike and wowed the crowd with “Don’t Stop Believing”…what a great addition to the fun of the evening. And it was one of the best cake smashes ever(way to go Erin).
Congrats to Erin and Logan! We wish you many many many years of happiness in your new life together. Thanks for letting us be a part of it and for the honor of capturing your story and the moments of your wedding day. Enjoy the sneak peeks! – James and Amanda
Matt and Brooke were married last August at Lighthouse Sound in OC, Maryland. It was a pleasure working with them again for their anniversary portraits at the Cove in Nanticoke. They really are such a fun loving couple to be around! Great conversations and many laughs. Enjoy these sneak peeks!
Yes, Brooke we had to, because you are just too cute!
Thanks again, to the two of you, for giving us the chance to document the love you share! Here’s to many more loving years!
Amanda and I had the privilege of being with the Givens family once again for the wedding of their second son to his beautiful bride Kristen. Kristen has been a guest at several of the weddings that we had photographed in the past and we were delighted when she chose us to capture their wedding day. Everything took place at Baywood Greens in Delaware. Talk about a beautiful spot to tie the knot and celebrate; Baywood is top notch and is certainly one the most beautiful venues around(they have the most amazing flowers around). Plus the staff and event coordinators take great care of you and your bridal party throughout the day.
They were married in a simple ceremony outside underneath clear skies. We spent some time capturing photos with the bridal party and family and then got the chance to photograph with Pop pop Given’s 1946 Ford. Such a cool addition to the day and certainly fun to grab some pictures around such a meaningful automobile. The entire day was punctuated with fun, beauty, good friends, and lots of laughter. We loved catching the many moments that made up their amazing wedding day. It was difficult to narrow down to just these few sneak peeks. Enjoy them…..lots more to be seen at their preview party. Congrats Kristen and Corey! Thanks for trusting us to capture your day and the joy of being with your families once again!

Amanda and I had the privilege of capturing Jenna and Tony’s wedding recently. They were married in the First Baptist Church in Princess Anne in front of their friends and family. After the ceremony and family portraits we headed down to the river in Pocomoke for some quick pictures at the dock and marina. We then headed to the Pocomoke fire hall for their reception. It was a beautiful day filled with great moments. Congrats to Tony and Jenna on their lovely wedding day. Enjoy the sneak peeks!
