Meet Gabby! I had the privilege of capturing her senior portraits last week. It is always humbling and exciting when a client comes from fairly far away to have my create their portraits. Gabby and her family drove 5hrs from Virginia to spend the afternoon/evening with me down at Assateague Island for her session.
She is a gorgeous, intelligent, and confident young lady full of laughter and poise. It was a great pleasure being with her and getting to create these portraits. As you can see she plays soccer and is a natural in front of the camera. I wish her the best in her senior year and in her desire to play D3 soccer in college next year. I can’t wait to see where this girl will go. Thanks Gabby for trusting me with your portraits and it was awesome meeting you. Have a great senior year!
When you get to a wedding reception and the couple and the guests dance for an hour BEFORE dinner is served you know you’ve landed in with a fun-loving and wonderful bunch. I had the honor of capturing Brian and Sarah’s wedding at the Ocean Pines Yacht Club in Berlin, MD. The entire day was amazing. From meeting the girls at the family’s condo in OC, Brian and Sarah’s first look, On The Edge playing the reception, to shooting at the brand new Ocean Pines Yacht Club, it was all a whirlwind and a spectacular day.
Sarah + Brian – I couldn’t have asked for a more easy going couple to spend the day with. You both have the nicest families and great friends. I wish you the best in this journey of marriage. Thank you for your trust in me to capture your day. Enjoy these few sneak peeks and I can’t wait to share your whole wedding day story when we get together for your preview party in a few weeks.
Sincerely – James
Introducing Mr. and Mrs. Smith. Having their first dance together.
Amanda and I have gotten to meet so many amazing clients this year who have entrusted us with capturing their wedding days. One of those couples is Sarah and her fiancé Brian. We met up in Ocean City last week for their engagement portrait session. We had a blast capturing these and many other images as well as simply getting to hang out and get to know each other better. Sarah and Brian thanks for meeting me the other night to take these portraits. Enjoy just a few of the sneak peeks here on the blog. I am so excited to be part of your wedding day in May.
Brooke and Matt are just about the cutest couple that I have had the pleasure of photographing this year. Bubbly Brooke, easy-going Matt, just plain fun and down to earth. It was such a pleasure to capture their beautiful wedding day and be a part of this special moment in their lives. They were recently married on the grounds of Lighthouse Sound near Ocean City, MD. Then they partied the night away with That DJ Guy providing the music and a rousing reception. So many things came together for their special day that made it perfect, I feel I need to mention a few. Ethan, from Event’s by Ethan, was their wedding planner and the reason everything ran so smoothly. That DJ guy – Justin Darling, rocked the reception with fabulous lighting to great music that got people up dancing and made for a wonderful party. The gourmet cupcakes were made by Cake Art; they were beautiful AND delicious. Trisha and the other stylists at Accents Salon did a wonderful job with hair and makeup. And I got to photograph all of that. Enjoy the sneak peeks!
Brooke and Matt,
What a privilege to get to know you and to capture your wedding day. It was an amazing day and I hope it was everything you had planned and hoped it would be. Enjoy the sneak peeks and I am looking forward to your preview party in a few weeks. Thanks for trusting me with you day.
I have had the pleasure of photographing all of the DiNardo kids for their senior portraits. I was excited to meet up with Lilly in Fenwick the other night to capture hers. We spent the evening photographing on the beach before the clouds rolled in and darkened the sky, but we got these and many others before that happened. I love being at the beach and photographing seniors in that element. Plus I love when seniors put some thought into their outfits. A friend of Lilly’s mom had given the blue and white pants to her a while back and Lilly had them altered so that she could wear them for her portraits. I loved the retro/vintage look that they gave to her portraits. Plus, while we were taking these pictures the friend showed up and loved seeing Lilly in her old pants. These are just a few sneak peeks. Enjoy!
